Horray for Overtime

Woot. Did some overtime today.

I mean, how can you not love that shit! There is nothing like grinding out mind-numbingly boring hours in the office when you could be out drinking beer.

Unfortunatly its a fact of life.

New Army!

Having had a rather epic break from Warhammer so I decided it was time for a new army.

Given vampires are all the rage at the moment I have gone with a Vampire Counts army.

I am going for a swap theme because, I like swamps, it will give some awesome options for conversions and I haven't seen it done a whole lot before.

I knocked out a quick sample to start. Just a simple, base coat, wash, highlight combo.

I am not particularly happy with how it turned out. I was hoping to be able to fast pain all the troops. However, there isn't enough detail, so back to the drawing board.

Given the longness of the current weekend I managed to find the time to wash and detail the new car.

I followed the following process.

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Cleaning Claze
4. 2 Coats of Sealant
5. 2 Coats of Wax
6. Trim treatment for all the black trim.

It come up looking pretty good.

My next job is to detail the interior. Then it is on to modding.

My current plans are:-

1. External updates (gloss B-pillars, Honeycomb front lower grills and painting the side skirts).
2. Forge FMIC
3. Chip
4. Intake

Will take me a little while to get organised for all that though :)
